PHOENIX - A woman who survived being thrown out of a car, run over and left for dead speaks out about her attack for the first time.
It was an attack she cannot even remember. Christina Cabrera says, "I don't know what happened to me." She has no memory of that night on October 16. In fact, the 22-year-old has little memory of her past.
She says, "I don't remember anything at all. I can barely even remember my brother's names and my friends' names." Christina has spent over a month and a half in the hospital labeled a "Jane Doe" at first until her family identified her through tattoos. After spending several weeks in a coma, Christina awoke to a nightmare. She explains, "I started thinking ‘What's wrong with me? Where am I at? What's wrong?’ That's what I started thinking. I'm still thinking it right now."
Investigators also have no idea who tried to kill her. She has lost her eye sight in one eye. She is now scarred and crippled but she is still clinging to hope. "I hope that they stop these guys that did this to me. I hope that they catch them."
Because Christina does not remember anything from that night, police have little to go on but they tell 3TV a 9-year-old boy saw three men throw Christina out of a blue Chevy car and then run over her.
