PEORIA - Peoria police are trying to piece together details surrounding a double shooting.
Police don't know what led up to the shooting that left one man injured and another man fighting for his life.
The shooting happened around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon at a house on Bronco Drive near 67th Avenue.
One man was being treated for head injuries when another man was located in a car a few blocks away with gunshot wounds.
The connection between the two men is unknown but neighbors said one victim was a 20-year-old male who lived in a house in the neighborhood. The other was a 22-year-old who ran from the house bleeding and was being transported to the hospital by his girlfriend.
The investigation is ongoing.
