School bus driver t-bones minivan in Mesa; No kids on board

MESA – A driver was injured and taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus and a minivan in Mesa.

A spokesperson with the Mesa Fire Department tells 3TV a Mesa Unified School District bus t-boned a minivan near Brown and Ellsworth on Thursday at about 2 p.m. There were no children on board the bus at the time of the collision.

The 22-year male driver of the minivan suffered non-life-threatening injuries while the bus driver was not injured.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
