TEMPE, Ariz. -- Dive teams spent Monday night searching Tempe Town Lake for the body of a missing 19-year-old woman.

Adrienne Salinas disappeared early Saturday while on the way to her boyfriend's home. Friends say the two argued earlier, but Salinas left her apartment near the Arizona State University campus bound for her boyfriend's home in Scottsdale around 4 a.m.

"It's a puzzle, a mystery. This is so unlike her," Adrienne's father, Rick Salinas, told 3TV Monday night.

Salinas found his daughter's car on Sunday. He figured something was wrong when he didn't get a Father's Day call.

He found his daughter's car between her apartment and Tempe Town Lake and said it had damage to two tires and the rims, apparently from hitting a curb or median. The doors were locked. Adrienne's phone and purse were gone.

Salinas fears something happened to his daughter as she walked from her disabled car back to her apartment.

Adrienne, who graduated from Arcadia High School, was attending Gateway Community College.  She lives with several close friends and was dating a man she has known since childhood.

Officers said they have no specific reason to believe her body is in the water but are searching it with sonar to make sure.
