CHANDLER, Ariz. - A hospital patient was arrested by Chandler police after an ambulance was stolen Thursday evening.
Police say the man walked out of Chandler Regional Hospital, saw the keys inside the ambulance and reportedly took off.
He drove the ambulance from the hospital onto the 101 freeway and made it to the intersection of Elliot and Dobson before he was arrested.
Charges against the man are pending.
