PHOENIX -- Police officers have arrested five suspects believed to be responsible for armed robberies at several Valley stores since August.
Phoenix police say between Aug. 5 and Oct. 14, armed suspects entered several Valley stores, primarily cellular phone stores, demanding money and other property from victims.
According to Chandler police, three of the suspects held two employees at gunpoint while they stole trays of jewelry from Nancy's Jewelry and Clothing at Arizona Avenue and Ray Road on Oct. 26.
Ruben R. Mendietta, 26, Andrew Bochinclonny, 29, and Jose Solis, 21, were arrested after that robbery.
Ishmael Luna, 23, and Jocy Martinez, 26, were later arrested and all five were booked into jail.
