It has been a while since I did a monthly ten under $10 list and I've heard from a lot of you that you like this monthly list, so here is one for this month. Thanks for the feedback, too. I love to hear from the viewers and from my website readers to see what you like me to cover and this one keeps us on our beauty budget. Walgreens beauty expert Bianca gives me her list of ten beauty products that all sell for under $10 and are either brand new, customer favorites or truly unique. Here are Bianca's picks for February...
*Clairol Herbal Essences Smooth Collection Lisse Shampoo ($4.49 at Walgreens) Bianca tells me that her customers are thrilled that Herbal Essence is back at Walgreens. This customer favorite is silicone free and is infused with rose hips, Vitamin E and jojoba extracts. Bianca told me that she saw multiple commercials for this product during the Grammy awards broadcast.
*Garnier Olia Hair Color ($9.99 at Walgreens) Olia by Garnier gives 100% coverage over grey hair without ammonia. It is 60% oil blended and Bianca says this product visibly improves and restores color.
*Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Restoring Shampoo ($4.99 at Walgreens) Here is another brand that Bianca tells me has returned to the Walgreens shelves and her customers are thrilled. Great line and Bianca says that the website at www.vidalsasson.com has great tutorials, too.
*gud Pearanormal Activity Natural Body Lotion by Burt's Bees ($7.79 at Walgreens) Bianca and I both love the Burt's Bees line and so do her customers, so this newer line by Burt's called gud is a great addition to the brand. With no parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals, gud sticks with the Burt's Bees philosophy of natural products. The pear and acai berry scent is nice and the packaging is made with 25% post consumer plastics, so this is earth-friendly, too.
*Yes to Grapefruit Facial Towelettes ($6.49 at Walgreens) These handy facial wipes brighten, cleanse and exfoliate all in one. Bianca tells me that powerful fruit acids reduce hyperpigmentation and the packaging is great for travel.
*Maybelline Vivids Color Sensational Lipstick ($7.49 at Walgreens) This line by Maybelline sports bright vivid shades of color, which Bianca tells me is a huge trend now. Plus she says the lipstick is moisturizing.
*Revlon Matte Nail Top Coat ($5.79 at Walgreens) Customers tell Bianca that they love this stuff and it sells out constantly. This nail polish transforms any nail color into a matte look.
*Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder ($9.99 at Walgreens) Perfect for the upcoming summer season, this powder provides light coverage without being cakey.
*Fergie Wet n Wild Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer ($5.29 at Walgreens) Fergie has teamed up with Wet n Wild to bring her own line to Walgreens and Bianca says it is good stuff. This eye shadow primer lasts all day and prevents eye shadow from leaving creases on the lid.
*Nivea Lip Butter ($4.29 at Walgreens) When you think of Nivea, you probably picture the lotion, right? Well check out their lip butter because Bianca tells me that it works well. Try the vanilla and macadamia kiss flavor for a fun scent that provides good moisture to your lips.
