Family Style Spaghetti Squash & Meatballs

Meatballs:
1/2 cup goats/whole milk
1 cup diced day old noble bread
1lb ground beef
1lb ground pork
1/2 cup grated parm
1/2 yellow onion(diced)
6 cloves garlic(chopped)
1 tbsp. thyme(chopped)
1 egg beaten
salt & pepper to taste
Favorite tomato sauce Homemade/jar
 
Spaghetti Squash:
1 large spaghetti squash
2 tbsp. olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
 
Garnish:
1/2 cup grated parm
1/4 basil(sliced)
 
In a bowl soak day old noble bread with the milk.
In another bowl mix beef, pork, onion, garlic, thyme, egg, salt & pepper.
Add soaked bread to the meat mixture & mix thoroughly.
Form all the meat mixture into balls.
Heat a sauté pan to medium temp & brown all the meatballs.
After browned place meatballs place in a baking pan & cover with your favorite tomato sauce. Cover with foil & bake for an hour in a 300 degree oven.
 
Cut squash in 1/2 length wise.
Season with olive oil, salt & pepper in each 1/2.
Lay face down on a baking tray & roast at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
 
Turn Squash cut side up & fill with meatballs.
Add garnish grated parm to the top & place in the oven at 350 degrees & cook til the top is golden brown. After it comes out garnish with basil & serve on a serving tray.
