Pear and oregon tart cherry cobbler

Cobbler Ingredients:

6 ea. bartlett pears- peeled and diced
1-cup tart Oregon cherries
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. salt
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. olive oil

Instructions:
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large sauté pan. When the butter begins to bubble, add the pears and the cherries. Sauté until the pears are tender. Add spices and sugar. Cook for approx 2 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved completely. Take off the heat and allow to cool slightly
 

Cabernet caramel sauce Ingredients:
2 cups California cabernet wine
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Instructions:
In a medium size saucepan, heat all of the ingredients until they are the consistency of pancake syrup. Take off the heat and allow to cool.

Streusel Ingredients:
1-cup sugar
1-cup brown sugar
1-cup flour
4 oz butter- diced
1 cup almonds- or your favorite roasted, salted nut

Instructions:
Put all of the ingredients into a large bowl. Use your hands to mix together all of the ingredients. Put mixture onto a sheet tray that has been sprayed with vegetable spray. Spread the mixture out evenly, and bake in a 350 oven for 8 minutes. When the mixture comes out of the oven, allow to cool for 5 minutes and mix thoroughly. When the mixture is completely cool, grind the mixture in a food processor.
