Fort McDowell has one of one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in town and it's free!
The Ohio Players -- "Fire" and "Love Roller Coaster" -- will take the stage at 8 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m.; it's first-come, first-served, so you'll want to get their early.
Finis Henderson opens the show at 7 p.m.
The concert is followed by an amazing fireworks show.
Parking is free. The concert is free. And the fireworks are free.
And, as always, there's plenty of other stuff to do at The Fort. That includes eating... and eating well.
"We usually have our crab legs on the weekend for $9.99, all you can eat," said Sandra Grijalva. "This weekend, we are putting that aside for a special Fourth of July menu. ... It will be delicious."
