Chandler Culinary Festival
Chandler's Culinary Festival is a gourmet food and wine tasting event that features the East Valley's finest. TASTE. offers a unique opportunity to taste, savor, and enjoy the delicacies of our local eating establishments. This event showcases local business, local restaurants and benefits local charities. There will be over 30 food samplings and a variety of fine wines, craft beers and spirits, giving guests a truly unforgettable and scrumptious experience. Join us Saturday, Oct. 6th, 2012.

Anthony Robles: UNSTOPPABLE: From Underdog to Undefeated How I Became A Champion
Anthony Robles the author of UNSTOPPABLE (Gotham Books, October 1, 2012). Born with one leg, Anthony had the odds heavily stacked against him, but his courage and unyielding resolve allowed him to chase his dreams.
Today, at 24 years old, he is a NCAA Wrestling Champion, a three-time All-American, the 2011 recipient of the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance at the ESPYs, and a 2011 Hall of Fame inductee, a remarkable achievement for anyone, but especially for an athlete with one leg.

All Ford Show
The 2012 All Ford Car Show will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Phoenix Ford dealership. Registration starts at 7:00 AM. All Ford branded cars are welcome, including Ford, Lincoln Mercury, and Edsel, although the cars do not have to be Ford powered. Over 200 cars are expected to be on display and the first 50 to register will receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the Sanderson Ford Village and Museum, a private museum featuring more than 25 classic cars and thousands of memorabilia. In addition, prizes will be awarded to three levels in each vehicle class.
While the impressive cars will be the main attraction, spectators will also be able to enjoy a live concert from Consider the Source, as well as a DJ. The Starliner Diner, Sanderson Ford's classic stainless steel, 50s-style diner, will be open for breakfast and lunch.
Show cars will enter on the Sanderson Ford Service drive on Maryland Avenue just west of 51st Avenue, while spectator parking is on the north side of Maryland and 51st Avenue. To register for the 20th Anniversary Sanderson Ford All Ford Show, visit www.allfordshow.com.

Honda Recall Expansion
Honda is expanding a recall. It's adding more than 300-thousand cars to a recall over faulty headlamp wiring that could cause low beam lights to go out. The expansion includes 2002 and 2003 Civics, and Sedans and 2004 and 2005 pilot SUV's. Dealers will inspect and replace the lights.
