Denmark native turned Valley resident Charlotte Wetche just obtained rights to market in the US traditional Scandinavian marzipan from the company her great-grandfather founded. European marzipan isn't the sugary paste many Americans think of. It's actually a rich and very versatile ingredient that allows you to make delicious fruit tarts, pies and cookies in just 8 minutes or chocolate covered candies in no time.
