Carey Pena is the EMMY winning co-anchor of 3TV's NEWS AT 10. Her work on in-depth, investigative and consumer advocacy stories as a member of the high-profile 3 On Your Side unit, has helped many people in the Valley get results and improve their lives.
Carey has covered some of the biggest breaking news stories including the September 11 attacks, wildfires in AZ and CA, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and local and national elections. She anchored extensive LIVE coverage of the death of Osama Bin Laden as it was unfolding in the Middle East.
She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan but spent most of her childhood in Southern California. Carey has traveled all over the world and says her love of travel and desire to learn more about the world really inspired her to become a news reporter.
Carey is the co-host of the MDA Telethon, emcee of the VA's Hero Awards, The Girl Scout World Awards, United Blood Services Hero for Life Awards as well as a variety of other causes that are near to her heart. She's a proud graduate of ASU.
