Tyler Baldwin, Sports

Sports Anchor/Reporter

Arizona native Tyler Baldwin joined Arizona's Family as a reporter in December 2007.

Baldwin's road to a broadcast career has been an eventful one.

He started his career in Fresno and Merced, Calif., working for KMPH FOX 26 as a reporter and photographer. There, he had the privilege of covering several stories with national exposure such as the events surrounding Chandra Levy and Laci Peterson.

From there Baldwin transferred to Yuma, where he served as the main anchor for KSWT CBS Channel 13.

Most recently, Baldwin spent more than three years reporting at Fox16 News in Arkansas.

Born in Arizona, Baldwin finished school in Florence, Italy, and graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism at Arizona State University.

Baldwin is a second-generation journalist. He says it a real honor to follow in the footsteps of his father, one of the first radio talk-show hosts in Arizona. Although his dad died of cancer right before Baldwin took his first job in the business, he believes his father still tunes in every night to watch his son's work. "I heard the reception is pretty good up there."
