Reporter
Emmy Award-winning reporter Stacey Delikat joined the 3TV team in August 2009.
Before moving to the Valley of the Sun, she reported at News 12, a 24-hour cable news stations in New York City. There, she did all of her own camera work and editing, and regularly filled in as a weekend anchor. She regulary reported on New York City politics, crime and culture. In April 2010 Stacey was awarded an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences New York for her work on a News 12 special series: "Child Abuse: Breaking the Cycle."
Stacey caught the journalism bug at an early age, writing and designing her first newspaper when she was just 6. Since then she's gotten her bachelor's in communications from Cornell University and a master's degree in broadcasting from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Stacey's background also includes reporting for the.News, a news program for high-school students produced by Macneil/Lehrer Productions.
While in graduate school, Stacey was a Washington correspondent for CBS-affiliate WCAX in Burlington, Vermont. She also spent time working on the assignment desk of CNN's New York Bureau. Stacey's first experience in broadcasting came through internships with CNNfn and NY1 news.
Stacey was born in New York City and grew up nearby in Connecticut. Although she considers herself a true New Yorker at heart, she is thrilled to be in the sunny and friendly Southwest! After a short visit she fell in love with Arizona's scenery and sunsets.
When she's not out in the field, Stacey enjoys the outdoors, yoga, cooking, movies and tennis. She is looking forward to taking advantage of all the Valley has to offer.
