the Gilbert Police Department School Resource Officer program is organizing the Five-0 Car show to raise money for the Special Olympics Unified Sports Program. The car show runs from 10am-2pm. A few of the cars onsite will be Ghostbusters car and "Tow Mater" and "Lightning McQueen" from the motion picture Cars.

Rock the Block
The fourth annual Achen-Gardner Construction "Rock The Block!"  returns to Downtown Chandler with an array of festivities and entertainment.
The event will run from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Saturday, November 9, on Arizona Avenue between Chandler Boulevard and Frye Road.
The block party, which is organized by the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership and Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations, will feature:
● Beer and wine garden sponsored by Bourbon Jacks Bar & Grill. Featuring performances by A Boy Named Sioux and many more
● The community stage will feature "Chandler's Got Talent," a variety act talent show. Last year's winner, EmbeR, will be singing the National Anthem to kick off the event.
● A 50,000 sq./ft. Kids Zone including interactive games and rides, face painting, inflatables and more
● Veterans Day Celebration
● More than 150 retail, arts and crafts vendors and the top food trucks in Arizona
● The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership (DCCP) is a 501(c) 6 not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to mobilize leadership and resources to advance the development of Downtown Chandler as a regional destination for shopping, dining, living, culture and the arts. o 1) Pick up a $2.50, $5 scan card or a $10 Gobble Give card and hand to your cashier to add it to your bill
o 2) Drop off your non-perishable food items into the donation bins at each Fry's location
 Arizona's hunger rates are higher than the national average:
o 19.1% of all Arizonans are food insecure, compared to just 16.4% nationally
o 29.9% of Arizona's children are hungry, compared to 22.4% nationally
