The 30th annual  St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 10 a.m. March 16 at Third and Sheridan Streets (south of Thomas Road) and moves south to McDowell Road. The event features Irish dancers, bagpipers, the 2013 Arizona Irish Colleen and more. The Irish Faire, a family event with Irish music, dancers, food, and crafters, starts at 10 a.m. in Margaret Hance Park, adjacent to the Irish Cultural Center, 1106 N. Central Ave. The new McClelland Irish Library features the famous "Fighting Irishmen" boxing exhibit through May. There is an admission fee to see the exhibit.

Fair admission: adults 13 and older - $10, children 12 and younger - free, seniors and military - $8. Free shuttle available from 1850 N. Central Ave. (west side at Palm Lane) or take the light rail to Roosevelt Street Central Avenue Station. Free parking at the garage at 1850 N. Central Ave.

Looking for your good luck charm this St. Patrick's Day? Don't settle for wishing on a shamrock. Find it by adopting a pet at 'PetSmart Charities Community Adoption Event Saturday, March 16, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 17, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Sponsored by KTVK 3TV, Banfield Pet Hospital and Purina® Pro Plan®, the event will be held at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix (1826 W. McDowell Rd.) in partnership with several local animal welfare agencies.

For pet parents who have already found their furry lucky charm, the event will also offer free mobile spay/neuter clinics as well as low-cost rabies vaccinations and microchips on a first-come, first-serve basis. PHOENIX ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
The city of Phoenix is celebrating St. Patrick's day by hosting its annual St. Patty's Day Parade. The parade's scheduled to start at 10:00 am. and will go down 3rd St. from Sheridan, south to McDowell Road. Festivities will take place after the parade and throughout the day at Margaret T. Hance Park.  It costs $10 to get into the festival. Children 12 and under are free. More details can be found at www.phxirish.org
 
PICACHO PEAK SOUTHWEST CIVIL WAR EVENT
If you're looking to travel back in time, to the civil war era, head to Pichacho Peak State ark, off I-10 at exit 219.  Spectators will be able to see authentic Civil War camps and gear from the 1860s.  The highlight of the event will be a civil war re-enactment with about 200 reanactors. FOUNTAIN HILLS FINE ART AND WINE AFFAIRE
The 9th annual Fountain Hills Fine Art and Wine Affaire takes place from March 15th-17th. PHOENIX PET ADOPTION
PetsMarts Charities and Channel 3 are sponsoring a Pet Adoption event. Not only will dogs and cats be available for adoption, but pet owners will also be able to take advantage of a free mobile spay/neuter clinics.  The event is also offering low-cost rabies vaccinations and microchips.  The event is Saturday, 10am to 5pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Colesium at 18th Ave. and McDowell. TOMBSTONE'S WILD WEST DAY
The town of Tombstone is hostings its annual Wild West Days event. It takes place all day Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th. Visitors can roam the streets that famed Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp and other Wild West legends did. There will also be a parade on Sunday and there will be scheduled, simulated gun fights. SCOTTSDALE'S ULTIMATE BLOCK PARTY
Downtown Scottsdale is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with its annual Ultimate Block Party. The event takes place Saturday, starting at 3pm in downtown Scottsdale. SPLASH INTO SPRING
Tempe's Kiwanis Wave Pool kicks off Spring by opening its doors on Saturday, from 1-5pm. It'll be open every Saturday in March.  The pool is heated and is located at 6111 S. FINE ART IN THE GARDEN
It's the 48th annual Fine Art in the Garden Exhibition and Sale. Sheemer Art Center at 50th St and Camelback is hosting the event. There'll be 21 artsis working in watercolor, oil, pastels, jewelry making and ceramics, as well as glas and metal sculpting. Live music will entertain visitors as they stroll through the gardens. TEMPE'S HISTORY MUSEUM LOUD EVENT
Things are going to be loud at the Tempe History Museum. They're hosing their get Loud festival outside, from 2-6pm at the Museum, located at 809 Southern Avenue in Tempe.  The Bad Cactus Brass Band will be performing along with the B-one Quartet and Mana Sax Orchestra AZ.  Food Trucks will also be at the event and plent of arts and crafts.
