Booster Seat Law

Beginning Aug. 2, Arizona's new booster seat provision will require children younger than 8 years old or less than 4 feet, 9 inches tall to sit in a proper child safety seat, such as a booster seat, when riding in a vehicle.

Violation of the amended law is a primary offense and carries a fine of $50.

Join Phoenix Childrens Injury Prenvention Center and learn how to keep your child safe on every trip.  The workshop is today from 9am - 12:30 pm at the Phoenix Childrens Hospital east building entrance and main entrance.

For more information about the workshop or the amended law visit the website at  http://www.phoenixchildrens.com/community/injury-prevention-center/child-passenger-safety/az-booster-seat-law.html
