TEMPE, Ariz – Police need the public’s help locating two suspects involved in the robbery and murder of an Arizona State University student.

Tempe police say the shooter in the case is described as a black male in his early 20s. He is approximately 6 feet tall and has a thin build and a short haircut. He was seen wearing a white shirt, blue shorts and a red bandanna on his head.

The second suspect in the homicide is described as a black man who appeared to be about 25 years old. He has a medium build and is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt.

Zachary Marco, 21, was shot in an apparent robbery as he walked near the ASU campus at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 17. Tempe police believe both suspects fled the scene in a newer model, dark-colored four-door sedan. Police have not obtained the license plate information.
