AVONDALE, Ariz. --  It's shaping up to be a cloudy and cool -- relatively speaking -- Independence Day.

"Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible throughout the day, but not as likely for tonight," said 3TV Meteorologist April Warnecke on "Good Morning! Arizona."

Storm-chaser Mike Watkiss checked in from Avondale, sharing what Mother Nature might have in mind for us today.
