FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Mother Nature blew an icy blast into Flagstaff Tuesday, as rain, snow and wind brought the high country an early taste of winter.
The wintry mix of rain and snow fell throughout Northern Arizona during the day, but not enough to accumulate on the ground.
The National Weather Service also issued a wind advisory though 7:00 p.m.
More snow showers are possible this evening, but things should clear up later.
The chilly weather is definitely leaving folks shivering. "Its like back home in Illinois," said one visitor from the Midwest.
"I love the snow; I just have to be prepared," one woman told us. "I'm just not prepared today. I'm very cold."
But not everyone who talked to us minded the low temps. "It's cold but good," one resident said.
"We definitely have some winter going on," said another.
