PHOENIX -- The summer heat will be bearable Thursday with Valley temperatures hovering near average for this time of year.
Valley residents can expect a high of about 102 degrees today with nothing but sunshine. Overnight lows will hover in the mid-60s to mid-70s, while afternoon highs rise to about 104 for Friday and Saturday.
Saturday, a low pressure system and associated cold front moves by to our north, bringing dry and windy conditions to the state.
There is a Fire Weather Watch in effect for the high country Saturday for southwesterly winds between 20 and 25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 45 mph. Breezy conditions can be expected in the Valley on Saturday with calmer conditions and slightly cooler temperatures near 102 on Sunday.
