PHOENIX -- Even as Tropical Storm Issac lashes the Gulf Coast, residents of Louisiana are thinking back to a storm seven years ago that changed their lives forever -- Hurricane Katrina.

People from all over the country went to help, including firefighters from right here in Arizona.

Two of those firefighters, Capt. David Kanobbe and Battalion Chief Jim Arbagey of the Phoenix Fire Department, sat down with 3TV's Kaley O'Kelley and Javier Soto to share their experience. They were called in after the levees protecting New Orleans broke, allowing the waters of Lake Pontchartrain to spill into the city.
