MESA, Ariz. -- Westwood High School in Mesa was vandalized and it seems the culprits may be students from a rival school.
The staff and students arrived at the school near Alma School Road and University Drive Friday morning and found graffiti around campus.
Someone spray-painted "MESA" on the football field and the fence above the bleachers, according to 3TV's Bruce Haffner, who got a bird's-eye view. There also was graffiti on the ticket booth.
Employees are working to clean up the mess before Friday night's football game against the Mesa High School jackrabbits.
According to a parent, Westwood High School gets vandalized every time the football team plays Mesa High School.
