GRAMMYS PAY TRIBUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- As LL Cool J put it at the opening of the Grammys, "There is no way around this. We've had a death in our family." He led the Grammy audience in prayer in Whitney Houston's memory. Jennifer Hudson performed "I Will Always Love You" in tribute. Houston had presented Hudson with her first Grammy, a moment Hudson says overshadowed the Grammy itself. Rihanna gave a shout-out during her performance, "Make some noise for Whitney!" Paul McCartney said, "This one's for Whitney," as he played "Golden Slumbers." Melanie Fiona said she would not have won a Grammy last night if it weren't for Houston showing the way.
