PHOENIX -- The 2012 All Ford Car Show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., at the Phoenix Ford dealership. Registration starts at 7 a.m.
All Ford branded cars are welcome, including Ford, Lincoln Mercury, and Edsel, although the cars do not have to be Ford powered.
Over 200 cars are expected to be on display and the first 50 to register will receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the Sanderson Ford Village and Museum, a private museum featuring more than 25 classic cars and thousands of memorabilia. In addition, prizes will be awarded to three levels in each vehicle class.
Resident car enthusiast Scott Pasmore got a sneak peek at some of the cars that will be featured.
While the impressive cars will be the main attraction, spectators will also be able to enjoy a live concert from Consider the Source, as well as a DJ. The Starliner Diner, Sanderson Ford's classic stainless steel, 50s-style diner, will be open for breakfast and lunch.
Show cars will enter on the Sanderson Ford Service drive on Maryland Avenue just west of 51st Avenue, while spectator parking is on the north side of Maryland and 51st avenues.
