PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- That extremely cold weather system that whipped through Arizona over the weekend dumped a ton of snow on northern Arizona. The front was so cold that the snow level dropped way down.
Kaley O'Kelley was in Prescott over the weekend and enjoyed a lovely white weekend.
The same storm brought snow to the North Valley and much of the state over the weekend. Viewers from across Arizona submitted photos to azfamily.com/younews as seen in this winter weather slide show.
This Week's Weather
After a cold start this morning temperatures will recover 10-15 degrees warmer than what was seen Sunday afternoon. Above normal highs and dry westerly flow will continue through much of the week.
A weak shortwave due Friday that will drop temperatures a few degrees and bring a very slight chance of showers to the northern zones.
After another recovery next weekend a stronger storm may approach the state early next week but it is too early to tell. Fair weather and above normal daytime temperatures are in store for much of the area this week.
