TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- For as loud a guy as Charlie Sheen has proven he can be, he's quietly donated $25,000 to help tornado relief in Alabama. He's made good on a pledge to help survivors of last spring's deadly tornadoes, even though some had doubted he would follow through on his promise. The head of Tuscaloosa's tourism agency says one of Sheen's people recently turned over the money. It had come in through a fundraising website that Sheen set up after tornadoes hit. Those twisters killed about 250 people in Alabama alone.
