NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The 2011 CMT Music Awards were broadcast live from Nashville on June 8 at 8 p.m. ET on CMT and CMT.com. The show honored the best country music videos of the year and featured country's biggest names performing live.
Beginning April 27 and ending June 7, CMT.com fans voted for their favorite videos which ultimately determined the winners.
Videos that debuted on CMT between March 2, 2010, and March 28, 2011, were eligible for the 2011 CMT Music Awards. Finalists were determined by a blue-ribbon panel that included noted country music journalists, as well as music industry and CMT executives.
