PHOENIX - In this week’s Hidden Hot Spot segment, Brittney Shipp takes us behind the scenes at J&G Steakhouse.
Located atop the Phoenician resort in Scottsdale, the restaurant offers a sophisticated collection of steakhouse classics as interpreted by Michelin starred chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Brittney sat down at the best table in the restaurant and shared steaks with Chef de Cuisine Jacques Qualin to learn how the restaurant makes is signature main dishes and scrumptious side dishes.
She also stopped by the bar to learn how to make a lemon drop cocktail in the restaurant’s lounge.

Also, this Wednesday April 6, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will be in the Valley to prepare a menu of his most acclaimed dishes from his restaurants all over the world. The event is part of this week’s Scottsdale Culinary Festival.
The 33rd Annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival begins April 5 and runs through April 10th at various locations throughout the city of Scottsdale. The festival includes the Great Arizona Picnic and Cooks and Corks, featuring food and beverage demonstrations.
