Map: police officer car accident
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A Scottsdale police officer was in the hospital Sunday morning after being hit head on by a sedan near Via De Ventura and Hayden Road.
Both the officer and the driver of the other car were hospitalized.
Police would not comment on the extent of the injuries. A spokesman for the Scottsdale Police Dept. did tell 3TV that neither alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
