PHOENIX -- The first of seven lawsuits against Senate Bill 1070, Arizona's tough new anti-illegal-immigration law, went before a federal judge Thursday. That proceeding ended with no ruling.
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu stopped by 3TV Friday morning to explain how he is preparing for some lawsuits his office might face if SB 1070 goes into effect at the end of the month. He believes his office could face lawsuits filed by people claiming discrimination.
Babeu talked through the issues, explaining his position to Scott Pasmore.
