GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — Huge crowds are expected when Sarah Palin kicks off her national book tour in Michigan.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate is scheduled to sign copies of her book Wednesday evening at a Barnes and Noble bookstore in Grand Rapids. The book was released Tuesday but has topped best-seller lists for weeks.

The book, "Going Rogue," follows Palin from childhood to her departure last summer as Alaska governor. Its title refers to reports that she defied presidential candidate John McCain's staff during the campaign and had gone "rogue."

Palin campaigned with McCain in Grand Rapids and writes about her unhappiness with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan last year.

The three-week tour is expected to largely mirror the 2008 race.
