SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Republican Gov. Susana Martinez reports raising more than $870,000 for her re-election campaign in the past month and spending nearly the same amount.
The Martinez campaign released a financial summary on Thursday showing it collected nearly $875,000 in contributions since late May and had expenditures of $860,000.
The governor had cash-on-hand of $4.3 million in her re-election account as of last week.
Thursday is the deadline for candidates and political committees to file reports with the secretary of state's office disclosing how much they've raised and spent from May 28 through June 28.
No fundraising details were immediately available for Democratic gubernatorial nominee Gary King.
The Republican Governors Association reported spending about $571,000 to produce and air advertising against King in June.
