PHOENIX -- A new version of "The Lone Ranger" will open soon with Armie Hammer playing the title role and Johnny Depp as Tonto.

The equine star of the film, Silver, stopped by the 3TV studios Monday morning. Scott Pasmore talked to the horse's trainer, Bobby Lovgren, who said he worked with the white quarter horse for about three months before the film.

If you'd like an up-close view, Silver will be making a couple of appearances in the Valley this week:
