PHOENIX -- When your kids are young, helping them with their homework is easy.
But as they start to get older, the homework gets harder, and lots of moms and dads have a tough time helping their kids.
Often parents end up turning to Google if they don't know the answers and aren't able to help their child. But a new homework app is now offering help and support for kids and parents alike!
It's called Uzinggo. Adaptive Curriculum CEO Jim Bowler showed Scott Pasmore how it works, on Monday's Good Morning Arizona.
"We know how difficult math and science can be," Bowler says. "This is online tutoring at home. So if you have a challenge as a student, you can get the support you need for class, or if you're a parent and you don't remember that exact topic, you can go on, review this a little bit, and help your child."
Whether it's figuring out the concept of a mathematical function, or understanding the makeup of the skeletal system, Uzinggo can help.
"Everything here is interactive," Bowler says. "It's real world math and science."
The online tutoring helps explain difficult concepts in clear, easy-to-follow lessons. Learning is personalized, which allows students to follow at their own pace.
The program costs $9.95/month and is also available in Spanish. You can find out more information on the company's website.
