PHOENIX -- Nearly 26 million people in the U.S. have diabetes. What's worse is more than one-third of them do not even know it; they have not been diagnosed.

Before the onset of full-blown diabetes, patients almost always develop what doctors call "prediabetes." With prediabetes, a person's blood sugar is higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed with diabetes.

How do you know if you have prediabetes and are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes? A simple blood test will tell you, allowing you make to make some important decisions about your health.

LabXpress is offering the glucose test for free. For $5, you can get both a glucose test and a cholesterol test. (Click here to get the required coupon.)

There are seven LabXpress locations that offer the free glucose test. To find the one nearest you, visit www.labxpress.com/arizona or call 602-273-9000.
