PHOENIX -- Feast on the Street brings our community and friends together around a half-mile long dining table in downtown Phoenix, transforming First Street into a pedestrian promenade in celebration of food and art in the desert.

The Breadfruit's Jerk Rub

Ingredients
1/2 lb. Habanero, Stems removed/Roasted
1 cup Green Onion, Chopped
2 Tbsp. Thyme, Pulled from stalks
2 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced
2 T C Gold Rum
3 Tbsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Black Pepper, ground
1/4 cup Jamaican Allspice, ground
1/4 cup + 1 Tbsp Sugar     
1 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg, ground
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon, ground
1/4 cup White vinegar

Instructions
Roast habaneros on grill or in oven for 5 minutes at high heat or 450 degrees

In a food processor or blender add all ingredients EXCEPT white vinegar.

Run food processor or blend until all ingredients are very smooth.

Add vinegar.  Pulse until combined.
