PHOENIX -- Eric Huffman trained extensively in Tokyo, Japan with master foot reflexology sensei, Ando Haruki and has a practice in Chicago.

He is here to support the work of His Holiness Cealo, the Dalai Lama of Japan this week.

Reflexology is a safe alternative healing modality based on the ancient principles that points on your feet connect to all the parts of your body to provide relaxation or address specific ailments such as sinus conditions, headaches, muscle aches, sports injuries.

Another practitioner, Chie Mizutani from Tokyo, Japan, is also here to support H.H. and brings moxa, cosmo and aroma body work therapies.

Appointments are from 30 minutes to one hour and fees range from $45 to $80 on Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3.

For additional information and appointments call Elizabeth at 480-990-8884 and visit www.cealo.org.

Volunteers will meet clients at the Community Room at The Legend at Kierland 6735 E. Greenway Parkway, Scottsdale.

His Holiness, The Dalai Lama of Japan, will deliver a public talk aided by his translator with Q&A and meditation on Thursday, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Switch Consignment Store, 14202 N. Scottsdale Road (and Acoma) for an $11 suggested donation.

All proceeds for both the bodywork sessions and the live event benefit the Foundation for Global Harmony, helping people become spiritually and economically self-sufficient, and children’s outreach programs focused in southeast Asia. All expenses are underwritten by supporters.
