PHOENIX -- This holiday season, why not take some time to build lifelong memories with the people you love? Traditions offer an opportunity to bond and reconnect. Plus, ideas like these help to keep the magic of Christmas alive for everyone.
Thanks to Kristen Forgione, we're able to share this idea with you.The stylist and founder of The Lifestyled Company came up with this conversation starter. It offers an opportunity to create a new tradition to display in a festive way every year.
"All you need for this great and original piece of décor is blank white paper, pens, your family and friends, hot cocoa or a glass of wine, your apothecary jars, some ribbon," she explained. "You'll also need our free printable 'Christmas Wishes' sign."
Then, write your wishes out on those pieces of paper. You can also write down what you're thankful for. Fold each thought and fill the apothecary jars.
The stylist is making an adorable 'Christmas Wishes' printable tag available for free on her website. Download it and print the holiday message on a heavy card stock.
Cut out the sign, wrap a piece of holiday ribbon around the top of the tallest jar. Place the sign between the ribbon and glue or staple.
Finally, revisit your jar daily or weekly and read what you and your family are wishing for this holiday season.
