PHOENIX -- It's that time of year again - the school year has started -- or will soon -- and we are hitting the salon for a new look.

Each year there are new and exciting styles kids are trying out, This year they are crazy for color and wild for accessories.

Veronica Penzone from Beauty by Veronica showed off some super cute kiddos and gave them a new look to head back to school in style.

Elementary:
• Girls: pony/pig tails, blunt cut, 'fancy' pony and braids (with ribbons and accessories) are all hot right now.

• Boys: crew cut and short spikes, sweeping (parted on one side and uniform length), comb down.

Junior high:
• All about individual style - medium hair cuts, temporary fun color, trendy.

High school:
• At this level, students tend to sport different hairstyles that are both simple and wild. For girls there are various hairstyles to pick and choose from ranging from ponytails and braids to blunt cuts and medium length hair cuts. Boys are into sport short crops or bowl cuts. Bright color is big in this age group as well (although many schools don't allow it).

Veronica showed us:
