PHOENIX -- Arizona's women-owned businesses have experienced some of the nation's highest growth in revenue and employment, according to a new study.
In a newly released American Express survey, Arizona made the top-five list for female business owners. Over the course of more than a decade, the Arizona women-owned businesses have:
· Grown 57 percent
· Increased revenue by 95 percent
· Increased employment by 46 percent.
Entrepreneurs Organization of Arizona, a dynamic group of 135 successful entrepreneurs, has seen the success of female business owners firsthand. Many of EO Arizona's members have achieved great growth here locally and have built up their companies to $1 million-plus businesses.
