PHOENIX -- Former Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill, a 26-year veteran of the department who has been part of several manhunts, explains how it all works and what the next several steps will be to 3TV's Ryan O'Donnell.

The two also talked about the heightened security at this weekend's Pat's Run in Tempe.

Pat's Run organizers said not to be surprised to see a lot of uniform officers at the run. They also said many searches will be conducted as a security precaution and therefore recommend runners leave their backpacks, fanny packs or camel packs in the car. Organizers also recommend showing up early since the process might take a little longer this year than it has in the past eight years.
