FLORENCE, Ariz. -- Day one of Country Thunder in Florence is in the history books and it was quite the party.
Although, it didn’t stop too many people from waking up early to start round two.
Despite sleeping on the ground and in tents, some Country Thunder first timers from San Diego didn’t wait for breakfast to get day two started.
“People fell asleep wherever they could, we slept in the car, somebody slept in that, whatever that is,” said camper Zak Semitka pointing to a destroyed tent.
Those wanting a better night's sleep brought a camper or motorhome, but Tyler Bergmann wanted to be different. He brought a boat.
“It's simply an RV that floats, I mean you can't beat it, it's got three bedrooms, shower, kitchen, it's the same things as them, just more versatile. Just a different shape,” said Bergmann.
There is music at Country Thunder, after all it’s a country music festival, but for man there's plenty of fun, peaceful, sugar shaking in the campsites.
“The best thing we found out about this is that there was no fighting, it doesn't matter how much partying people are doing they're all just having a good time,” said camper Noreen Riley.
Country Thunder runs through Sunday.
There are tickets still available for the concerts, but unfortunately no camping spots are available, they've been sold out for months.
Friday's headliners are Tracy Lawrence and Eric Church.
