SEATTLE (AP) — Mainly dry weather is forecast tomorrow through Wednesday in western Washington, which should help recovery workers at the site of the mudslide who have been working in the rain.
After scattered rain showers today, the National Weather Service expects partly sunny skies tomorrow and Tuesday with high temperatures in the 50s. Clouds return Wednesday and a chance of rain again on Thursday.
A flood warning remains in effect for a river just above the mudslide blockage, although the river has cut a new channel.
A flash flood watch is in effect downstream, in case the blockage suddenly gives way.
