PHOENIX (AP) — The law firm that employs a lawyer who was wounded in a Phoenix office shooting says he is on life support.

Mark Hummels was one of three people shot Wednesday after authorities say 70-year-old Arthur Douglas Harmon drew a gun at the end of a mediation session at a north-central Phoenix office building.

Steve Singer, a Scottsdale-based company's CEO, died hours later, and a woman who was shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The third person, Mark Hummels, was hospitalized in critical condition. Phoenix law firm Osborn Maledon said Thursday that Hummels is on life support and isn't expected to survive.

Police say the gunman was found dead early Thursday in Mesa from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

They say Harmon opened fire at the end of a mediation session over a lawsuit he filed last April.
