ODD TUMOR CASE MAY HELP TAILOR CANCER CARE - It's straight out of a horror movie: A 24-year-old man endures 350 surgeries to remove constantly developing tumors in his throat, only to see the disease advance into his lungs and threaten his life. Now doctors have found a way to help him, with a scientific coup that also may hold promise for millions of cancer patients. It could give a cheap, easy way to individualize treatment without having to analyze a patient's genes.
HOT COMMODITY: THIEVES STEALING WILD GINSENG - Wild ginseng is a traditional ingredient in Chinese medicine and is believed to be more potent than the farm-grown kind. Dealers buy it from diggers at $600 a pound. That's ten times more than the cultivated kind.

MA, MASS. CHEMIST IN DRUG TEST FLAP ARRESTED AND FAKED RESULTS - A chemist accused of faking drug test results at a state police lab has been arrested outside her home. A Boston court issued a warrant for Annie Dookhan, who is accused of faking drug results, forging signatures and mixing samples.
MN, MINNEAPOLIS POLICE: GUNMAN KILLED SELF, 3 OTHERS - A man burst into a sign-making business in Minneapolis, fatally shooting the owner, 61-year-old Reuven Rahamim, and three others in the office before turning the gun on himself.
MD, RAVENS & BROWNS FANS: WE'RE GLAD REFS ARE BACK! - Win or lose, both Ravens and Browns fans were delighted the regular NFL referees have returned to the field after ending a contract dispute.
