SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Authorities in the San Antonio area are searching for a man who is missing after he drove into a flooded road, making him the fourth person swept away by floodwaters from the remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine (hur-MEEN').
Authorities say searches resumed Thursday for three men in the San Antonio area and a woman whose sport utility vehicle was washed off the road by a creek in Austin.
Residents in central and north Texas are meanwhile assessing the damage from the deluge.
The storm killed two people and spawned several tornadoes as it rolled across Texas and Oklahoma on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for Bexar County, Texas says authorities are using San Antonio television stations' helicopters to search for the missing because the state has none to spare.
