COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -- The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the people responsible for stealing more than $10,000 worth of music equipment from a residence in Cottonwood.

According to YCSO, some time between last Saturday night and last Sunday morning someone stole the equipment from a fenced in shed.

The fence wasn’t locked at the time of the burglary, and YCSO said it appears as if the suspects accessed the yard from an adjoining alleyway.

The victims told deputies that someone knocked on the door of the main home on Saturday night, but when they looked outside no one was there.

Items stolen include a bass guitar, a drum set, five microphone stands, and a bass amplifier head.

YCSO is processing physical evidence from the scene, but is asking the public for any additional information.

Anyone who may know something about the case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
