PHOENIX -- Passengers on board a United Airlines flight that was diverted to Sky Harbor Airport continued on their journey Thursday night.
Earlier in the day, a plane traveling from San Francisco to San Antonio had to be diverted to Phoenix due to an unspecified threat.
Passengers were removed from the plane, but the airport was not evacuated.
No flights were delayed by the incident.
The bomb squad and police dogs searched the plane but didn't find anything.
Steve Martos with the Phoenix Police Department wouldn't discuss specifics about the threat, but he did say the threat was found on the plane.
The flight was able to takeoff and resume its trip to Texas before 8 p.m.
No one has been arrested in connection with the threat, but the FBI continues to investigate.
